Basic control usage within app
When your watching a channel pressing a direction on your remote will perform a specific function. Pressing left or right will change the channel to the previous or next channel on the list. Pressing down will bring up guide details for the current channel. Pressing up will reveal a new menu with many options. Pressing the round select button will bring up an overlay on the screen with a channel list and guide info that you can scroll through and then select a different channel to go to.
How to add channels and movies to your favorites
While watching a channel, press the Up direction on remote and a menu will appear on the screen. Scroll over to the option labeled Favorite with a heart shape and click it to add this channel to your favorites.
How To Change Video Quality
If you experience freezing or video quality issues when using the app then you may want to switch the video quality from its default setting of high to low.
To do this you will want to click the menu icon at the bottom left while on the main home screen in the app. The icon looks like 3 horizontal lines with squares zig zagged on the lines. A new menu will pop up and the 5th option is titles video quality. Once clicked you should see the word High, scroll to highlight the word and click select to change it to low. Then just back out once done.
How to use multi-screen function
Press up on your remote while watching a channel. A menu will appear at the top of the screen. Scroll over and click on Quad view. A new menu will appear and you can select channel list from the far left to choose a channel and then it will ask which of the 4 screen spots you want to place that channel and it will load it. Also along the top will be option for you to select which screen you hear the sound for.
How to change the time format
click the settings icon on the bottom row of the home screen. ( looks like equalizer icon ) Next scroll over and click on the AM/PM or 24h to change it to the other option
How to lock out channels
Press up on your remote while watching a channel. A menu will appear at the top of the screen. Scroll over and click on the gear icon for settings. On the next popup click on the enable childlock option. The next time someone goes to watch that channel it will require them to enter the childlock code. The default child lock code is 0000.
To change the code you will click the settings icon on the bottom row of the home screen. ( looks like equalizer icon ) Next click the first option that states “Change Childlock”. A number pad will pop up and you must enter the current childlock code ( 0000 is default ) then press next and then submit. Then the number pad will pop up again allowing you to select a new code. Afterwhich you will press next and then click submit.
